The OSHA 10 Hour General Industry training is available to employees under the jurisdiction of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA); it takes 10 hours to complete and can be done at your own pace; it takes 180 days to complete; it is available in both Spanish and English; it is available in printable form upon successful completion; the U.S. Department of Labor provides an OSHA card; and it is possible to earn IACET-approved CEUs: 1.0 (10-hour course).
Workers in non-construction sectors like manufacturing, healthcare, warehousing, and retail are the target audience for this training. Basic safety and health concepts are introduced in the OSHA 10-Hour General Industry course, which emphasizes OSHA requirements, hazard identification, and preventative techniques. Ergonomics, machine guarding, walking-working surfaces, and hazard communication (HAZCOM) are important subjects. For entry-level workers who wish to promote a safer workplace, it’s perfect. An OSHA 10-Hour General Industry DOL card will be given to students who successfully finish the course.
